Be FRUITFUL (vs. 8-14) "Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness;" instead "expose them" by the light. (vs. 11) The fruit of the light (vs.9) are: goodness (moral purity) righteousness (right standing before God) truth (the Word of God) 2. Be WISE (vs. 15-18) The fear of the Lord is wisdom. Fear=carefully applied knowledge Ask for wisdom of God's will in every circumstance 3. Be THANKFUL (vs. 19-20) In your heart to the Lord "always giving thanks to God the Father for everything." (vs. 20)

Pastor Randy shares "Life in Christ" from Ephesians 5:1-7. In Ephesians chapter 5, Paul turns his attention to how we, as one in Christ, should live and reach outside the church and "be imitators of God." 2 Keys to Life in Christ: 1. Live a Life of LOVE. (vs. 1-2) The Greek word "mimetai" means to imitate/mimic. We are to "follow God's example" and love just as Christ loved us. 2. Live a life of HOLINESS. (vs. 3-7) We should place priority on different things than what the world places priority on. The Holy Spirit, our helper, gives us the ability to live more like Christ. Comparison is the thief of contentment.
