Karla Armenta is an Authorized Level 2 Ashtanga Yoga Teacher by Sri. Sharath Jois. Her dedication has led to an entire decade of consistent practice and travel to Mysore, India where she continues studying. If that wasn't inspiring enough, before finding Ashtanga Yoga, Karla danced Classical Ballet in the Vaganova system with Russian teachers for 15 consecutive years. Simply said, she is an incredible teacher with a playful yet disciplined tone, and not only that she is a great friend. 

"I never started my yoga practice pretending to be a teacher, rather the authorization is a gift of my commitment and the restlessness of knowing my body and being. I have been in contact with my body since I was very small and I have learned to take care of it and listen to it in a detailed fashion. I've found that my body is an open book to understand how my mind and emotions work. The opportunity to be a guide is a beautiful consequence, and I remember in before every practice that first, I am always a student. I’m honored and grateful for my life experience."
