Key Takeaways:

  • One of the funniest parts about being a father is being able to see each of your children as an individual and find ways to connect with them.
  • Being married in your 20s can be difficult because you’re all on your own, but it will absolutely teach you how to make friends and find community.
  • Be fearless and never burn bridges.
  • It's a blessing when you have mentors for different seasons of your life, and there has to be a word of honor between that individual and someone to whom you're gaining access.
  • It's all about habits. Small changes in your routine can help you be more productive every day while finding joy in what you do.

“Relationships are everything. You don't burn bridges; maybe you need to have some separation in some tough relationships but those are the fabric of success – the people that you pour into any respect and you honor.” — Ashton Owens
