  • Who’s Looking After You While You’re Looking After Everyone Else?

In this episode, I sit down with Seema Shah, founder of Harmonious Way to Health, to talk about what happens when we spend so much time caring for everyone and everything else that we stop paying attention to ourselves.

Seema takes a holistic approach to wellbeing, looking at the connection between mind, body and soul rather than treating health as another box to tick.

    We talk about:

    • Why women so often put themselves last
    • The warning signs that your body may be asking you to slow down
    • The relationship between nutrition, energy and how we feel
    • Why mindset matters when it comes to our health
    • How movement, yoga and meditation can support our wellbeing
    • Simple habits that can make a meaningful difference

And importantly, this isn’t about creating another enormous wellness routine or giving you another list of things you should be doing.

It’s about becoming more intentional about looking after the person who is holding so much of it together.

Because your health shouldn’t have to reach crisis point before it becomes a priority.

If you’re constantly giving to everyone else, running on empty or simply know you’ve slipped to the bottom of your own list, this episode is for you.

🎧 Listen now and ask yourself: what is one thing I can do for myself this week?

  • You Can Go Back for Things: My Project No Regrets

Five years ago, as I approached 40, I asked myself a question that changed the way I live:

If I got to the end of my life, what would I regret not doing?

I made a list and then I started doing something about it.

I called it Project No Regrets.

Since then, it's taken me travelling, climbing mountains, having solo adventures and saying yes to experiences I might once have waited for someone else to do with me.

But recently I've realised that our regrets aren't always the huge, bucket-list things.

Sometimes they're the quieter dreams we had for ourselves that we somehow left behind.

One of mine? I always wanted to experience living, working and studying in Central London. I wanted that London life and because I didn't do it when I was younger, I'd unconsciously decided I'd missed my chance.

But who says you can't go back for things?

So that's exactly what I'm doing.

In this solo episode, I talk about Project No Regrets five years on, learning to have adventures alone, why we put imaginary expiry dates on our dreams and how I'm finding ways to experience the things I still want from life.

And I want to leave you with the question that started all of this for me:

If you got to the end of your life, what would you regret not doing?

Maybe you haven't missed your chance.

Maybe you just haven't done it yet. ❤️

  • Self-Sabotage, Visibility and the Fear of Being Seen

What if the thing holding you back isn’t a lack of confidence, ability or ambition, but a pattern you learned a long time ago?

In this episode, I’m joined by Tahirah, an accredited BACP psychotherapist, NCPS clinical supervisor and trauma specialist with over 15 years of experience across the NHS, charity sector, private practice and international settings.

We have a deeply honest conversation about self-sabotage and how cultural expectations, fear, shame and our relationship with visibility can influence the choices we make.

Why do we procrastinate on the things we say we want? Why can success sometimes feel just as frightening as failure? Why do we shrink when an opportunity asks us to become more visible? And how much of what we call self-sabotage is actually learned behaviour?

We also get personal. I share something I’ve been navigating myself and we explore what may really be sitting underneath my resistance.

Tahirah and I discuss recognising your patterns, challenging the stories you tell yourself, developing greater self-awareness and using community and accountability to help you move forward.

Because overcoming self-sabotage isn’t about fixing yourself.

It’s about understanding why you do what you do, recognising when an old pattern is running the show and giving yourself the opportunity to choose differently.

If you’ve ever thought, “I know what I need to do, so why am I not doing it?”, this episode is for you.

  • Stop Waiting: You’ll Never Feel Ready

In this honest and empowering episode, we explore one of the biggest things holding us back: waiting.

Waiting to feel ready. Waiting for perfect timing. Waiting for confidence, permission, or someone else to go first.

But what if that “perfect moment” never comes?

In this episode, I share a gentle but direct reminder that life doesn’t change through overthinking — it changes through action. Even small, imperfect action.

I also reflect on my own experiences of doing things before I felt ready — from climbing Kilimanjaro and trekking to Everest Base Camp, to building a business, travelling alone, and saying yes to opportunities that scared me. Not because I was fearless, but because I chose action over fear.

    We explore:

    • Why “I’m not ready yet” is often fear in disguise
    • How over-preparing can become hiding
    • Why clarity only comes after action
    • The myth that everyone else has it figured out
    • Why waiting for permission keeps us stuck
    • How to take your first small step in the next 24 hours

This is your reminder that you don’t need more time, more courses, or more certainty.

You just need one small, brave step.

Because your future is created by what you do — not what you intend to do.

If you’ve been putting something off, this episode will gently call you forward.

    Stop waiting. Start now.

  • Your Voice Is Your Power: Lessons from Poetry, Business and Life

What if the key to becoming more visible isn’t learning to speak louder, but learning to trust your own voice?

In this episode, I’m joined by author and poet Charnjit Gill to explore what poetry has taught her about business, life and the courage to be seen. We discuss finding your voice, sharing personal stories, embracing vulnerability and overcoming the fear of judgement.

Charnjit also shares how her South Asian identity has influenced her writing, the connection between creativity and entrepreneurship, and why our words can become one of our most powerful tools for building connection, confidence and impact.

  • The Queen Britain Tried to Silence: The Untold Story of Maharani Jind Kaur

Maharani Jind Kaur was far more than the mother of Maharaja Duleep Singh.

She was the last Queen of the Sikh Empire. A political leader. A fierce strategist. A woman who resisted British rule and fought to protect her son, his throne and her kingdom.

After visiting The Last Princesses of Punjab exhibition at Kensington Palace, I couldn’t stop thinking about her and how often powerful women are reduced to footnotes in someone else’s story.

In this episode, I explore Maharani Jind Kaur’s extraordinary legacy, the lives of the Princesses of Punjab and why recovering the stories of South Asian women from history matters for the women creating change today.

  • 45 Years Later, Here's What I Know For Sure

This year I turned 45 and it felt like the perfect opportunity to reflect on the lessons life has taught me so far.

In this special solo episode, I'm sharing 45 truths I've learned over 45 years. Some came through success, many through failure and others through the experiences that have shaped me as a woman, mother, wife, business owner, leader and Sikh.

From courage and confidence to faith, friendship, health, purpose and happiness, these are the beliefs and lessons I return to time and time again.

I reflect on everything from leaving my corporate career and building Asian Women Mean Business, to climbing Kilimanjaro, navigating motherhood, overcoming burnout and learning what truly matters in life.

Whether you're entering a new chapter, reflecting on your own journey or simply looking for a dose of perspective, I hope these lessons encourage you to trust yourself, take the leap and embrace the season you're in.

Because if 45 years has taught me anything, it's this:

Life is shorter than you think, courage comes before confidence and the best chapters may still be ahead.

  • How to Do Scary Things Without Feeling Ready

What if confidence isn't something you need before you start?

In this solo episode, I share why some of the biggest decisions of my life happened long before I felt ready. From leaving my successful career as a Head of HR to build Asian Women Mean Business, to leading the Mother Kili expedition and documentary project with no experience in mountain climbing or filmmaking, I've learned that confidence is rarely the starting point.

Instead, confidence is built through courage, action and experience.

I explore why so many of us stay stuck waiting for the perfect moment, how fear can actually be a sign of growth and why the opportunities that change our lives often arrive before we feel qualified to take them.

    In this episode, I share:

    • Why confidence is a result of action, not a prerequisite for it
    • The lessons I learned from leaving corporate life behind
    • What Mother Kili taught me about backing myself and taking risks
    • How to move forward even when fear and self-doubt are present
    • Practical ways to take the next brave step towards the life you want

If you've been delaying a decision, sitting on an idea or waiting until you feel ready, this episode is your reminder that courage comes first.

Because the life you're dreaming about isn't on the other side of confidence.

It's on the other side of taking the first step.
