Barking, whining, ringing a bell, scratching at the back door — shouldn’t your puppy be able to tell you when they need to potty?

That would be wonderful for many of us, but the truth is most pups do not give a natural cue to alert you that they need to go.

The crate usually helps puppies learn to hold their potty as they grow…typically dogs don’t like to soil where they sleep.

Technically…whether you like to hear this or not, you are training your puppy ALL day everyday. Every moment is a learning moment, even when they are just resting.

Place command is probably our FAVORITE command — it’s essentially “calm on command” — BUT you do have to teach your puppy HOW to be calm to be able to use it as it’s intended.
