We're so excited to share our first guest with you, it's the one and only Evelyn Thompson-Smith! Evelyn is Becky's mom, and Martha's mother in law, and she has lived...a couple of lives. Today we ask her about her educational pursuits, her WHIRLWIND romance with Papa Smith and how they've been married for 35 years. We also touch on what drives her, and how she stays invigorated and excited to work and be busy.
Here's what we've been liking this week:
-The Chief Inspector Armand Gamache book series. The series is written by Louise Penny and if you're a fan of whodunnit books, check this series out! They're set in Montreal, Quebec.
-The jovi patch! Becky isn't done talking about this magical pain relieving patch so hopefully you're willing to keep hearing her sing it's praises.
-For those of you who listen to us in warmer climates, this might not be a big deal for you but it's getting hot and sunny in Alberta. Becky even got to lay in the sun in her latest and favourit-est bikini from aerie.
-Check out @thundervoice_eagle on instagram. They're doing an incredible job at reimagining famous artwork with indigenous elements and people. Its beautiful. https://www.instagram.com/thundervoice_eagle/?hl=en
-We love our families, and we love that family shows up for each other.
-Last but never least, we LOVE! and we LIKE! Universal health care!! Martha is very much about to pop and we're all thrilled that because she's in Canada this baby will come with 0 hospital expenses. Honestly everyone, move to Canada and have your babies.
