Thanks to everyone for coming out to the live session!
In this episode, our guest Mrs. Denese James took us on her journey. She genuinely told us about her experience with two losses that have really impacted her. Though heartache is present, joy still abounds. She reminded us about noting the good memories, celebrating life with those around us, and living intentionally. Live in the moment.
Stay tuned for season two!

In this episode, the topic is youth in politics! Many times young people are disillusioned with the political system and its leaders, but my guest Javon Moatt and I took a deeper look into the world of youth engagement in politics.
He was a former Youth Parliamentarian in The National Youth Parliament of Jamaica Program's 2018-2019 cohort, where functioned as County Coordinator for Middlesex under the program, as well as he was the Prime Minister at the 2019 Youth Parliament sitting.
The youth are the future, but are also integral in shaping the present day.

In this episode we spoke a lot about the sexual abuse and rape that men face in Jamaica. We discussed how hushed this topic is, as well as how to help our men get help. Our boys and men need mentorship, positive male mentorship. Be the change that you want to see and help our men. Special thanks to our guest Napoleon Black for taking the time out to share with us and answer our questions.

We had a good chat and outlined the reason behind the podcast being formed, as well as where we'd like the podcast to go.
