Spiritual Dryness is experienced as a sense of separation from God or lack of spiritual feelings, especially during prayer. This is a feeling (fact) but not the truth. The heart is deceitful-our emotions can not be trusted. Our trust should only be in the God who will never change. God is the same yesterday, today and forever. If He is always present, then He has never left and if we feel like He is distant-it is us and not Him.
