Our world is filled with need, so much of which cries out for a practical response: Food for those in famine, medicine for the sick, comfort for the bereaved, peace for those in war torn lands.

Where do we begin?

Surely, we begin with what they need most. What is that?

It's powerful when seen in the lives of others; it's wonderful when experienced in the life that is your own!

Praise God for His offer of peace to sinful rebels such as we all are!

It is a marvellous mystery that the One offended should extend an offer of peace to those who have so offended Him. Indeed, it passes understanding!

And then, to those who receive His offer of peace, through Jesus Christ, He surrounds them with peace through all their days. 

Philipians 4:7 says, “The peace of God which passes all understanding shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”
