Early/absentee voting begins Tuesday, Oct. 8 in a local regular election in Las Cruces in which Ranked Choice Voting (RCV) will be used for the first time. Those races are for mayor, city councilors in districts 1,2 and 4 and presiding municipal court judge.

Putting students first and a community school partnership between Las Cruces Public Schools and the City of Las Cruces are highlighted in a new video podcast with interim superintendent Dr. Karen Trujillo produced by the City of Las Cruces’ communications office.
