Bob have lived a very interesting and active life, full of the up's and down's we all receive. We can never grow unless we fail or are dealt with some adversity. Bob was raise in rural Ontario Canada, born 61 years ago in an agriculture community of mostly small family dairy farms. Life was simple growing up in the late 50's and 60's going to high school by the early 70's. Bob learned quickly that traditional education system was not for him, so Bob quit midway through grade 10. Being labeled by the system provided Bob with his first challenge early in Bob’s adult life trying to find his self, what's his purpose, his passion. Bob held many jobs, factory worker, machine operator, laborer, truck driver, farm hand and so on, through all of these jobs a trend started to be established, he enjoyed people, like to have fun and wanted to help as many people as Bob could. Bob went back to school, became a paramedic for several years, then school again to become a counselor for a group home teaching life/social skills to developmentally disabled people being intergraded into small communities from a life of institutions. Bob learned so much from these beautiful people, looking back it was me that got the education, he was just there to help. This trend continued, and as Bob grew so did his entrepreneurial spirit; as a result, Bob has been self-employed since 1986 owning several different businesses's, being a landlord, selling real estate for 26 plus years and now owning two retail stores with an online component. Bob love social media, promoting people, helping people gain an understanding that we are all in the is world together, the birds, bugs, tree's, we are all nature. With our two Backyard birding stores, a big part of our message is habitat creation, respecting nature, being aware of the products we buy as consumers and who we support by making those purchases.
