  • Is Alcohol Bad?

This week, Taylor sits down with Jared and asks him about ALCOHOL. Alcohol is (at least from what I have gathered) a big part of our culture, and lots of people all over the world partake. But what does God say about it? How do I know if I am drunk? Jared brings wisdom to this highly debated and controversial topic and offers a pastor's perspective.

  • Is "TREAT YO SELF" Biblical?

If you've seen Parks and Recreation (and even if you haven't), you've heard of TREAT YO SELF. Simply put, it is a way people reward themselves for hard work or good behavior by splurging every once in a while by buying themselves something (usually something nice, expensive, or luxurious). But when does "treating yourself" become self-indulgence? This week, Taylor sits down with Emily Jackson and they talk allllllll about TREAT YO SELF. Emily brings a Biblical perspective to this idea and offers practical advice for properly treating yourself or stopping bad self-indulgence habits.

  • Does It Matter if I am Overweight?

This week Taylor sits down with Pastor Jared and they talk about being overweight. Taylor asked questions to investigate how society's view of being overweight compares with what God's word says, if our physical health matters to God, and if this is something we should even be concerned about.

Note from Taylor: I know this is a sensitive topic, and after going back and listening I know that some of the questions asked are very blunt. Sometimes I think of questions and ask them in their simplest form, which may come off as insensitive or unloving. But that is not my heart behind this at all. I hope this is helpful!

  • How Do We Grow Coming from Broken Families?

This week, Taylor sits down with Mandy Muir for a more serious discussion. They talk about coming from single-parent and non-believing families, how that impacts their relationships with others, and how God worked through their family situations. This is an emotional episode, and it comes from a place of love, gratefulness, and surrender to the Lord. We hope this encourages you, especially those who were raised in similar situations.
