In this Asking For A Friend Episode, we discuss a very loaded question that revolves around a growing hot topic in the world today.
“How do we respond to people in our circles that have changed their pronouns (He/She) or gender identification? I feel uncomfortable using their new name/gender as this is not who God created them to be (Male or Female). How should we navigate this? Should I use their new name/gender or not? If we don’t acknowledge their desired change, how do we go about this? Often, in these situations, the person is not a believer, or no longer following God. Would love to hear some thoughts on how to navigate some of these situations. Thanks!”
