You have to stand out and establish your name as a brand especially if you are a freelancer like me. So these are my blueprints which will help you to stand out from the crowd as a digital marketer.

First of all, once your done learning and interning as a digital marketer, you need to identify a niche. Whether you want to be SEO Expert, Social Media Expert or E-commerce Expert.

After identifying a niche you have to choose whether you want to be a consultant, freelancer or work as an employee. Once you have these 2 keys at a place. You’re good to go.

Now comes the most important part and most of the newbies ignore this and that is clear work ethic and brand value. By having a clear work ethic and brand value your clients can identify with – you can build trust and recognition. This will help you to stand out from the crowd. You have to do this because it’s very important.

Getting into clients shoes. This doesn’t mean you wear your client’s shoes. What I’m trying to say is, get to know your clients business. You need to know the nature of his business.

Giving personalized services that are tailored to your client’s needs – this method feels more personal and encourages your client to feel as if you are a part of his business and not just a freelancer. You can also help your family business grow online. Like what I am doing. My dad is the owner of PVT LTD Company. We are into groceries importer and exporter. So I am learning digital marketing because I want to grow my family business online and also I'm doing freelancing.

I’m going to share 5 tips on how to find the Best digital marketing institute in your area.

#1: First thing first that you check the course curriculum. When it comes to digital marketing, you will obviously look for a course curriculum as per industry standards. If you are not aware of what digital marketing is, then let me know in comment section I will reply with full details.

The course must contain modules like search engine optimization, social media marketing, website building with WordPress, search engine marketing, email marketing, affiliate marketing to name a few.

#2: Digital Marketing is done on lots of tools. So kindly check tools like #hubspot , #mailchimp , #hootsuit , #GoogleAnalytics , #KeywordsPlanner ,# facebookblueprints and such, whether they are covering or not.

#3: Third is fees should not be more then INR 30,000. This is basic industry standard fee structure for digital marketing.

#4: Get in touch with at least 5 ex-students of same institute and ask them how their experience was. Whether you should consider joining the same institute or not

#5: Check their placement records with these ex-students if in case you want to work as digital marketing executive or check whether they offer any internship.
