These chapters are Davos and Jaime, and we're getting some interesting former movement with Davos now that he's been made Hand Of The King and gets to witness yet another one of Melisandre's rituals. It's a very different situation than with Gendry and the leeches, that's for sure. Jaime, meanwhile, spills his guts (so to speak) about the truth behind his murdering of Aerys Targaryen, and between that and some news from Lord Bolton, Brienne finally seems to see that pledges and oaths aren't exactly as simple as she had thought.
