These chapters are Tyrion and Davos, and they're both dealing with their worlds being sort of upended. Tyrion wakes fully, and finds himself on the receiving end of one piece of bad news after the other, culminating in a meeting with his father where Tywin essentially disowns him in all but the official sense. Meanwhile, Davos is having a real moment of reckoning while stranded, starving and dying, on a rock in the middle of nowhere after the Battle Of The Blackwater.
