Mind Springs Health will ask Garfield County’s Board of Commissioners to help fund both local substance abuse treatment, and the psychiatric hospital in Grand Junction, at the commissioners' meeting on Monday.

Last week, Aspen City Council voted in favor of a 90-day suspension of an agreement between the city and the Red Brick Center for the Arts.

The Colorado Air Quality Control Commission voted last week to increase testing for methane emissions from oil and gas development.

This week, there have been more allegations of sexual harassment at the Colorado statehouse. The City of Aspen has some work to do to prove that it should hold on to conditional water rights on Castle and Maroon Creeks, and is considering pulling funding from the Wheeler’s stockpile to buy land in Woody Creek. The school district is also interested in the Wheeler’s excess funds.

New claims of sexual harassment have been brought up at the Colorado legislature involving Sens. Randy Baumgardner and Jack Tate. Both, in comments to us, strongly deny any wrongdoing, although they refused to answer our specific questions directly.
