It's one of the most popular videogame franchises of the last twenty years and it's movie adaptation was heralded as potentially being the first movie to break the videogame movie curse. With heavy hitters like Michael Fassbender, Marion Cottilard and Jeremy Irons onboard it certainly seemed like this might be the case...and yet...Assassin's Creed made zero impact on the pop culture and is almost completely forgotten a decade later.
