September 30th 2024 is International Podcast Day and to celebrate we decided to re-upload a fan favourite VGMP episode with a fresh new introduction from Rory and Jamie. The iconic PlayStation treasure-hunting franchise comes to cinema screens in "Unchartered." Starring Tom Holland and Mark Wahlberg, the film was controversial on release as fans felt the two male leads had been terribly miscast. With little experience of the game franchise however, what will Jamie and Rory think?

This is a difficult episode that, truth be told, we might have been better scrapping all together. Kung-Fu Master! is the only videogame movie so far to be deemed worthy of special release by The Criterion Collection, though upon watching it we discovered that it's ties to said videogame are very minimal.
Instead this French movie explores the burgeoning romantic relationship between an adult mother and a teenage boy who is friends with her daughter. It's a difficult film to watch and one we found it particularly difficult to talk about. Please be aware that the subject matter may be disturbing for some people.
