Bill Garrett, GSA, Director, Personal Property Management Policy, Office of Government-wide Policy is a graduate of United States Naval Academy and has held personal property and policy positions with the U.S. Federal Government civilian agencies since 2009.

Bill Brodt, NASA Experimental Facility Engineer has been at the august agency for 20 years. There he provides support for the many enabling services and analysis tools that support decision making about NASA’s facilities. For 15 years Mr. Brodt was involved in the National Institute of Building Sciences Facility Management Operations Council, which he Chaired. In 2020, the ALN prepared the Advancing Equity with Asset Leadership position paper to highlight the value of ISO 55001 4.2 – identifying relevant stakeholders and learning their requirements – and the other places stakeholders are mentioned. While it sounds simple, it is very complex to involve all relevant stakeholders. But President Biden started his Administration by signing the “Executive Order on Advancing Racial Equity and Support for Underserved Communities Through the Federal Government.” It calls for the White House Domestic Policy Council and the Office of Management and Budget to consider pilot programs and suggest best practices.
