This week we are doing something different. Last Thursday, April 20, 2023, I made a presentation at a local assistive technology Tech Expo. I recorded my presentation and the video is currently on YouTube. An audio-only version will be available by the end of the day on Monday the 24th. Meanwhile here is a link to the podcast website which includes the video version and links to websites of interest.

Normally I try to keep this podcast usable in an audio-only format. I occasionally put images and video clips in the YouTube version but it is specifically designed to be listenable without any video. In my presentation at the tech Expo, I had an accompanying PowerPoint presentation. You really need to see some of the images from that presentation to understand some of the things I was talking about. This is the audio-only version which includes additional comments I've edited into it that describe the images in question. This is not only to facilitate podcast listeners but it will help any visually impaired people understand what I was talking about since this is a disability-related episode.

I normally keep episodes around 30 minutes maximum but this presentation is about one hour. Rather than split it up, I'm posting it in its entirety. We will take a break next week and then resume my ongoing series about my school days in special education.
