Association Fantasy Football Cast United — FPL Pod

Get your lineups set, we've got Friday games again. This week we talk about how crap Arsenal is, bringing Grealish and Wilson back into the fold and a whole lot more, including fun/weird captaincy picks and a potential trade you should consider for your draft league.

This week on the pod we discuss the merits of spending a bunch of money on a player who has never started in the premier league, try to figure what to do with Grealish and Wilson now that their match is canceled and we ponder why the world needs nutcrackers.

It's just Derek and Charlie this week as we talk our horrendous wild cards, Tottenham being top of the table, Iberico ham, Tottenham being top of the table, a disappointing performance by Vardy and Leicester City and more. We even find time to mention that Tottenham find themselves in first place for more than a couple hours for the first time in the history of this podcast. Early week, so set those lineups!

This week we return from the international break and... OH GOD EVERYBODY HAS A RED TRIANGLE! We talk possible wild cards, how to fill in for some of the game's biggest stars, whether or not to spend money on the backline and state capitals for reasons that no human can fully comprehend.

Charlie and Rocky go all over the place in this one, so hold on to your hats. Derek wasn't here to reel us in, so stuff gets a little weird. We discuss how much we hate having to play defenders, the arrival of Ziyech, Romain Saiss possibly out of a job and build a really strange baseball roster of Premier League stars. There are games on Friday, so don't forget to set your lineups EARLY!

OK the audio is superbad not because Charlie went on vacation to a beach during the week it is going to snow but because Rocky shrunk Derek and is keeping him in an empty water glass. Seriously a real difficult listen so here's the long/short: Bamford's doing good but isn't sustainable. captain Kane, we're all sleeping on Mendy as a goalie, one of us looks good with a shirt off.

This week Rocky and Charlie are flying sans-Durno as we discuss Jordan Pickford trying to murder a man, Gareth Bale bringing a -3 goal differential to Spurs and all the FPL picks for the upcoming gameweek. Plus we lament the demise of dry beer, whatever the heck that was anyways.

There may have been an international break, but don't think that Charlie was going to forget about the thrashing Derek's United and Rocky's Liverpool teams received recently. We talk about how dirty we feel owning multiple Everton strikers, the effect Bale will have on Spurs, a pen specialist and hip phrases the kids use that we despise because we're grizzled old men.

Hey! Who wants to talk about the nitty gritty of what and what is not a handball? Nobody? GOOD! Let us never mention it again. Instead we talk about when we're going to return to watch sports in person, Mr. Vardy, the lack of clean sheets and the Rocky's terrible nicknames for both players and teams. It's become a real problem.

This week the friendship between the boys is on the rocks, but the FPL picks are FIRE! We talk about Leeds' scoring prowess, Gareth Bale coming into the league (and already being injured) and we even shine a little love on Everton. Plus we reminisce about the bad alcohol we consumed as youths and Derek nearly cries when discussing United's ineptitude last week.
