Mankind has always had a tendency to settle, to believe that the way things currently are is the best it’s ever going to get. And so, we grow comfortable and complacent and because of this, we often don’t realize that there is more. That there might be a better way to live. In John’s Gospel today, we get to hear Jesus teach that God wants more than just, “doing okay” for you.
