AstroNet Radio

It’s a very special episode this time with a longer run time! First up is “The Cabin”…a creepy short read by Jacob Hays that will make your skin crawl! And then we pull one from the vaults…1934…”Pigeons from Hell” by Conan creator, Robert E. Howard, read by William Burgdorf! Kick back and enjoy the show!

Dave Seigler of Ground Zero comics joins me and fan favorite Jaime Nivens to discuss hits and misses in the world of comic book movie adaptations.

This week on the show, we interview Afficial and Small Krime Entertainment CEO: Gooch.

On This Week’s Episode of The SpeakEZ, we got Doe King and Hue Turner in the studio spittin some game for the lames with City, GP Tha Showboat and DJ Big Bailey. Our question this week is: “What CDs can you remember listening to in the past or present that didn’t make you press the skip button when you listened through it?”

Four great stories! 1. The Defense Rests (read by William Burgdorf in which justice reaches beyond the grave! 2. Cherokee Superstition (read by Judith Brewerton) in which we learn not to anger the natives! 3. Reanimator (read by Jaime Nivens) in which Lovecraft takes us on a terrible adventure! 4. The Dolly (told be George Jones) in which a little girl learns a dangerous craft.

We discussed Batman vs. Superman dawn of Justice and then get into a great discussion on the role playing game Pathfinder.

This week the topic is hip-hop music artists who have also acted in movies. Which were they better at? We got DJ Quantummm in the mix choppin it up with your hosts: City, DJ Big Bailey & GP Tha Showboat. DJ Quantummm (aka ULTRA ULTRA) Featured Tracks: Fukd Up Lowd Down Wasabbii QuantuMmm 69th Wonder

It’s a chilling double feature with the first story being “Ghost Hunter” an original piece by George Jones in which a daring paranormal enthusiast goes a wee bit too far. The second is one from the vaults by John D. McDonald and read by William Burgdorf titled “The Great Stone Death” in which a harmless jaunt turns into a battle for survival with a nameless creature! And stay tuned after these stories to hear the original trailers/previews for the classic sci-fi horror movies “The Day the Earth Stood Still” & “Attack of the 50FT Woman”!

Fan favorite George Jones joins me in a spirited discussion on the greatest comic book story arcs ever written.
