Join me as we explore the first phase of the Tabernacle Project -- Acquisition of Resources.

Jesus Christ is the Bread of Life.  Beginning with the fall of man, through the redemption of the Hebrews from Egypt, continuing on the journey through the wilderness, the Messiah was there then.  He is here now.

Moses is both the prophet who foretells of the Messiah as the Deliverer, both of Israel and all nations.

His story, both as told by God to him, and recalling his own life story, foreshadows the coming of the Promised One, Jesus of Nazareth. 

In order to explain Messiah to the Emmaus travelers, it seems appropriate that the first subject would be Illumination.  

The Light provides the basis for all remaining characteristics describing Jesus Christ.

Since Day One of creation starts with The Light, we'll start there...

Let's suspend for fifteen or so minutes our understanding of Jesus.  We have a much more robust vision of who Messiah is, since we've had the New Testament our whole lives.

Let's put our view of Jesus Christ on hold for a while, and learn who Messiah is to those who were alive when Jesus was, who walked with Him, who actually heard Him speak...

Then, the unthinkable came to pass, Jesus was arrested, tried, and crucified as a common criminal.
