Her love has come along....
Amy Michaels loves her new life in Lucky Harbor. A waitress in the local diner, she's looking forward to her first weekend hike through the mountains. But when a wrong turn takes her off the trail, she finds herself up close and personal with forest ranger Matt Bowers. And even though she's tempted to kiss that sexy smile right off his face, she won't make the mistake of getting involved with the town heartthrob.
A former cop whose life went south, Matt doesn't let anyone get too close. But something about the feisty beauty caught his eye the moment he first saw her in the diner. After a hot night under a starry sky, Matt can't deny their attraction - or the fact that for the first time in a long time, he feels the stirrings of something more. Now it's up to Matt to help Amy see that, no matter what is in their past, together they can build a future in Lucky Harbor.

Story OK, narrator not
This is another case where I'm not sure if they story was bad or the narrator just made a good story bad. I've had good books that a bad narrator killed, this may be one of them. The chemistry between Amy and Matt wasn't that great and I got to the point where I didn't care and wanted it just to be over. Save your Audible credit and read this one.
Good story, horrible narrator!
I am really mad at the producers of this audiobook. The previous book Lucky in Love had me in a cloud of pure bliss for the few days I was listening to it. The story was amazing and the narrator Suehyla El Attar was perfect. So obviously I immediately got this title with the hope of extending my cloud of bliss for a few more days. As soon as I started listening, the rain started and I was left feeling like a wet dog in a storm.
Why did the producers changed the narrator? Why? Erin Bennett used the exact same voice for all the characters. She also sounded too old to interpret Amy's character and she showed zero emotion. She was more of a reader rather than a narrator. Worst narrator. EVER!!! Hachette Audio will cause irreparable injury to me if they use Erin Bennett as the narrator of the next book of this series. >\
I must clarify that Jill Shalvis is a great author and the story is pretty good. I'm sure I would have enjoyed it much more if I had read this book or if it was narrated by the previous narrator Ms. El Attar.
Love this series.
Where does At Last rank among all the audiobooks youve listened to so far?
I've enjoyed this entire series. I do prefer the other narrator however. Looking forward to the next three in the series.
Good Story
Nice, enjoyable story--wasn't too mushy. While it was a romance novel, it still had something to it. But I do wonder why everyone always blames themselves in this type book, but they surely don't in real life--maybe we should be more humble.
No matter, I enjoyed the story--narrator was so wrong for this story. She messed Lucille (the older lady in the book) up so much and she wasn't the main character. And the beginning of each chapter when she gave the chocolate note--so wrong. Like so many others, I question why they changed narrators. I am hesitant to listen to the next installment because EB narrates that one as well. But I guess my sense of wanting to know how Grace and Josh end up will probably win out and I will purchase it.
Hope Ms.
