We're still celebrating the signing of Philippe Coutinho from Barcelona, with Lucas Digne poised to follow him through the door, as Steven Gerrard looks to bring in high-calibre players.

It hasn't totally taken the edge off things, but VAR did spoil our weekend (especially Dan). The FA Cup defeat at Old Trafford was in spite of a very positive performance and Villa could well be favourites going into the reverse fixture in the league this Saturday.
