Does it feel like God is only present in "extraordinary" moments while daily life feels a bit mundane? It turns out Jesus bridges the gap between heaven and earth by meeting us in the middle of our skepticism and ordinary routines, and we can see this by looking at the story of Nathanael under the fig tree (John 1:43-51). Here we find out that Jesus sees our deepest longings and is far more active in our "everyday" than we might realize.
