Hello darling, welcome back!

I'm thrilled to share some news: as I have been throwing hints for a week (héhé) I'm going back home today to visit my family (rn as I type this!) in Argentina. Man, it's been a while. And so this morning I felt called to talk about travel anxiety, something that I suspect many people experience and might also stop others from daring and experiencing the treasure of travelling solo. For me, it all went down during Covid times... not only the situation in itself was really upsetting but well, me and my doing things 'too-in-advance' made me experience the most nerveracking trip of my life. My negative test was done to one day too early for my flight combo and thanks to the compassion of a Mexican girl called "Maria" I could manage to cut the line and do a test at the airport, arriving at my flight 3 minutes before closing the doors. But not only that, because when coming back, I didn't notice I needed an online declaration of vaccination to arrive in Barcelona. Hombre! Of course I had gotten vaccinated and these issues had solutions but well, they left me dry really and fearful of getting myself out there, for over two years. (And for how much I love trains, there's none bringing me to Argentina just yet. 😉)

Plus: I feel like there's really no comparison to being truly on your own in a foreign place... I suggest this to everyone, really. As I have experienced some mishaps, I thought about sharing some tips for the nervous and the easily-distracted ones!

P.S. : There was not good signal in the bus but I made it to Barcelona safely and now I wait for my plane to Buenos Aires. Don't ask me with how much time in advance I arrived, let's just say that I'm pretty safe and calm 😇

Hello darling, welcome back!

These have been busy weeks and I'm happy to share with you this charming episode, recorded in Hyde Park, London, with my friends Julie and Aymerick! I shared with them some thoughts I've been collecting and specially how posting the podcast with video and on Instagram has made me (over)think a little about my image and how I portray myself... How to show me real without overexposing myself? It's interesting how the anonymous pressure of social media can affect us and condition our cybernetic behaviour. After these first three months, I wanted to make a little balance and ask my friends for advice on this topic!
