Dr. Patricia "Pat" Priest is a writer, educator, and activist that founded or co-founded Athens in Harmony, Dancing With the Athens Stars, Stomp Out Domestic Violence, and Artists in Residence. She has been a part of countless projects that aim to bridge the gap between various communities in Athens, and has a strong passion for connecting people. 

Lemuel "Life the Griot" LaRoche is the founder and executive director at Chess and Community Inc., a nonprofit youth empowerment organization dedicated to developing strategic thinkers and leaders in the Athens community. 
He is an accomplished writer and poet, having published two books: 
Hidden Ripples: Life's Unspoken Language and Tree of Life: The Human Ascension.
