For Earth Day 2014, the SUNY-ESF Men's Mighty Oaks show how to compost organics with some Joga Bonito to help. The fancy footwork includes moves by all the graduating seniors: Adam Scalisi, Kyle Siegel, Ryan Craig, Ross Volpe, Pat Alcot, and Ben Bednarski. This senior class earned the most wins in school history, with 32 total wins during their careers.

While millions of people are gathering in family rooms and bars across the country to watch the 2014 Super Bowl on television, 13 SUNY-ESF students will be the center of attention at MetLife Stadium, on the field as members of the Syracuse University Marching Band.

ESF hosted the 2013 USCAA National Cross Country Championships at Drumlin's Country Club in Syracuse, N.Y.

A news conference was held October 29, 2013 to announce that SUNY-ESF would host the USCAA Cross Country Championships on November 8th at Drumlins Country Club. ESF will also host the races in 2014. One of media outlets covering the news conference was WSYR TV, channel 9.
