In a Skype call with Martine Perret, the conversation follows Matrine’s career and then swings from humanitarianism to photojournalism to fine art and back. Martine and her camera have worked for the United Nations for over 10 years after working for a major Australian newspaper, she is now using her art to document indigenous culture and languages.
