Warnings: Implied/Referenced rape/non-con, Graphic depictions of violence, murder, war crimes. Chapter specific warnings: Violence, threat, forced nudity – nothing overtly sexual happens, but stripping and forced nudity in this sort of situation is inherently an act of sexualized violence, so I’m going to give a blanket warning of non-consensual situations for the next few chapters. Nonsexual nudity between the boys (it is 100% a non sexy situation)
Also brief discussion of the deliberate and cruel killing of a pet cat.
Pairing: Sokka/Zuko

Summary: Book one ends with two major differences: 1. Sokka went on the mission with Hahn (it did not go well) 2. Zhao survives the North Pole and that proves unfortunate for everybody (except Zhao, obviously)
Imprisoned on Zhao’s warship, Sokka and Zuko have to work together to survive. They are not very enthusiastic about this prospect.
And they argue.
A lot.
