The Atlanta Braves enjoyed one of their best road trips of the season, capped by taking a four-game series from the red-hot Los Angeles Dodgers.

Grant McAuley is back to discuss all the big stories for Atlanta in the week that was and look ahead for the week to come. After winning their first series in Dodger Stadium in just over a decade, the Braves return home to host the Cardinals and Pirates.

Just how good has Ronald Acuña Jr. been? He sent his own message in the MVP race with some mammoth home runs against Los Angeles. Marcell Ozuna has also been sending some balls out of the yard and making a statement with his bat of late. But what is going on with Matt Olson? Is this home run drought cause for alarm?

The Atlanta Braves offense is certainly not in a home run drought, setting a franchise record for most homers in a single-season during the trip and taking aim at the MLB single-season record. Meanwhile, Spencer Strider is on a date with strikeout history if he keeps up his current pace. We'll take a deep dive into those numbers and his Cy Young candidacy and a dark horse candidate in the Braves rotation to keep an eye on.

Grant also caught up with the play-by-play voice of the Dodgers this week. Joe Davis checks in for a chat about the big weekend series, the rivalry between the Braves and Dodgers, the MVP race between Acuña and Mookie Betts, as well as what other NL clubs we should keep an eye on come October.

All of that and a trip around the big leagues!
