Our teaching series on Learning to Pray wraps up with a little message entitled, "I Asked Her For Water, She Brought Me Gasoline." The blues. Coping with being left empty-handed. Not getting what you asked for, and learning to live through those times.

We're in week three of our series of teachings on learning to pray. We explore the task of asking God for things, and what to expect when we do.

Learning to speak to God open and honestly, without concern for how we say what we're trying to say. Learning to be personal with Him.

Let's be honest: prayer is hard. We being our series on Learning To Pray by learning to use the prayers of others, like the psalms, the ancient prayer books, and of course, the Lord's Prayer. The best route to building a language of prayer is to steal the prayers of others!
