I’m Lucas Dixon and here are today's headlines from the Atlanta Journal-Constitution: Our top story: Metro Atlanta added 24,200 jobs in August, helping to nurse along the region’s economic recovery from the coronavirus. But there’s still a long way to go in the return to anything close to pre-pandemic times. Roughly 140,000 fewer jobs exist today than in February, said Michael Wald, former senior economist at the US Department of Labor.
