 The jury in Young Thug’s trial could be returning Monday for the resumption of witness testimony. At least, that’s what Fulton County Superior Court Judge Paige Reese Whitaker continues reiterating to prosecutors and defense attorneys.

Whitaker has also given prosecutors until Friday to respond to defense attorneys’ calls for a mistrial or at least their motions for disqualifications.

No courtroom proceedings will be held Friday. Whitaker has ordered attorneys and prosecutors to be back in court at 8 a.m. on Monday to finalize jury instructions that will be delivered in the wake of Superior Court Judge Ural Glanville’s recusal.

Whitaker also said she’s going to ask jurors if they can disregard previous testimony from prosecution star witness Kenneth Copeland (aka Lil’ Woody). If many of them say they can’t, a mistrial may result because of a potential reduced juror size.

The husband of a woman at the center of a 1999 Atlanta cold case is now behind bars. Christopher Wolfenbarger was charged with murder in connection to the death of his wife, 21-year-old Melissa Wolfenbarger. Woffenberger’s dismembered remains were found in black trash bags tossed on the side of the road, although they wouldn’t be identified as hers until 2003.

Defense attorneys in Young Thug’s internationally watched criminal trial erupted Wednesday morning after learning of another private meeting between prosecutors and the trial’s former judge – a meeting similar to the one that eventually got Fulton County Superior Court Chief Judge Ural Glanville recused from the case.
