The boys break down the improving Braves Bullpen, how blessed we are to have Ronald Acuna Jr., the Falcons continuing pre-season struggles and successes, and the importance of human wrists and what they are. Apologies for the strange background noise for the first half hour of the show.
The boys are excited about Folty's promising return to the rotation, notate how exposed the Braves offense is without a healthy and good Riley, Markakis and Dansby, why you shouldn't freak out about the bullpen yet, discuss Vince Carter's return to the Hawks and get into the nitty gritty of Falcons preseason football.
The boys return from their nearly month long hiatus to recap Alex Anthopolous' masterstroke by trading for Chris Martin, Mark Melancon and new closer, Shane Green and how this puts the Braves in a position to truly content. We discuss the Falcons getting the preseason underway with disappointing news on new offensive lineman, Kale Mcgary, extending Grady and Deion, and Jabari Parker coming to the Hawks.
In a special 4th of July episode of Atlanta's Own, The Braves talk all things Braves baseball (all stars, trade rumors, hypotheticals... oh my!) and also break down the Chandler Parson trade the Hawks pulled off this week. Have a safe and fun holiday, everyone!
The boys break down the continued dominance of the Braves, Folty's much deserved (and unfortunate) demotion, and potential trades the Braves could make to bolster the team. We then shift gears into breaking down the Hawks 2019 NBA draft and Travis Schlenk's strategy behind the selections of De'Andre Hunter and Cam Reddish.
The boys discuss the torrid winning streak the Braves on, their thoughts on Dallas Keuchel, how the pitching staff still has warts, and the Hawks big trade with the Nets and how it will impact next week's NBA draft.
In classic #truetoatlanta fashion we recorded this episode before the Keuchel move or the Hawks trade with the Nets. Woof. Well, if you like listening to out of date content, this is your episode.
We talk Kimbrel going to the Cubs, how great Austin Riley is, what we think the Hawks may do in the draft and how disappointed we are in Vic for not going to OTA's.
The boys go down the rabbit hole discussing how big of a deal (or not) it is that Liberty Media owns the Braves and how that affects the franchise, we also discuss the surging sensation Austin Riley and just how close the Hawks were to getting the number one pick in the NBA draft.
The boys engage in a "rapid fire" segment where Adam asks a bunch of questions to Graham about the state of the Braves. What's wrong with Folty? What do we do about the smoldering Austin Riley, is Luke Jackson the closer? Who is the mother of the Atlanta's Own Podcast? All of that is answered and more on this week's Atlanta's Own.
The boys have a surprising amount of analysis for the entire Falcons draft class and recap an eventful 2019 NFL draft weekend for the Falcons. We then break down the Braves who are stumbling their way through the season so far at an average clip, but have plenty of time to right the ship.

About Atlanta's Own: An Atlanta Sports Podcast
From the publisher's feed
Atlanta's Own is an Atlanta Sports Podcast dedicated to discussing all things related to the Falcons, Braves and Hawks. We are starting to sprinkle a little Atlanta United in as well.
The show is hosted by two Atlanta natives who are diehard, life long pro Atlanta sports fans who want to share the love and pain of being an Atlanta sports fan with as many people as possible.
Each episode covers the weekly news for the professional teams as well as opinions and insight of these stories. Our topic of the week segment is more of a roundtable discussion about a particular issue, opinion or idea pertaining to one of the teams or Atlanta sports as a whole.
The show started in March of 2017 and we hope it can grow into a must listen experience for all fans of our Atlanta teams. The show contains some vulgarity as being an Atlanta sports fan has made us cynical and bitter at times.
