Atlanta's Own: An Atlanta Sports Podcast

The boys welcome in Atlanta native Josef Bell to talk all things Atlanta sports. We break down the Julio Jones controversy further, discuss the Braves' hot homestand, preview the Hawks draft and get the full picture as to why Josef suffers along with the rest of us as an Atlanta sports fan.

The boys discuss the somewhat fledgling offense that the Braves possess currently, how McCarthy and Teheran are bringing down the rotation, and how to give hockey back to the city of Atlanta.

The boys talk about the near (fan) death experience when Acuna injured himself, what will prevent the Braves from making noise if they make the postseason, and force themselves to talk about Julio Jones' statement on his contract situation.

Adam and Graham lament Julio slowly becoming a diva receiver and asking to restructure a contract with three years left. We also discuss the Braves continued success.

In a way overdue episode that should have been released last week, that is now woefully out of date, the boys talk the big Hawks news regarding the lottery results and Lloyd Pierce's hiring, how the Braves are unstoppable road warriors, and decide if they'd rather have a Braves playoff run or an under 500 Falcons season.

In what should be considered the GOAT of Atlanta's Own episodes, User and Atlanta United correspondent Arthur Roche joins us to talk all things United, discuss some potential Braves trade ideas, and ponder hiring Becky Hammon as the Hawks head coach.

All that and more in an epic episode of Atlanta's Own.

An absolutely packed episode. We continue to marvel over the Braves' incredible run to first place, Graham argues that Jose Bautista is not needed, grumble about Matt Ryan's deal, prove we know nothing about college football with our 2018 Falcons draft "analysis", and take a stab at some United coverage.

In a very belated episode due to that trick mistress known as life, we argue about what happened to Coach Bud and what should have happened, freak out over Ronald Acuna Jr. and hypothesize about how the Falcons should have drafted. The show was recorded the night of the first round, but it's out three days later... Oh well. Enjoy our shortest and most tardy episode yet!

The boys lament over coach Bud's seemingly inevitable departure, gush over Ozzie Albies and the 2018 Braves, react with ambivalence to the 2018 NFL schedule being released and discuss why they're especially shitty at Atlanta United coverage.

We break down the action in the last two series against the Rockies and Nationals. We relay our hopes, our fears, and our overexcitement.

There is also a rumor about Coach Bud potentially heading to Milwaukee that sends Graham into pure, unadulterated Atlanta depression and we discuss the real reason the Matt Ryan deal hasn't gotten done.
