Isaiah 43:18-21 (NKJV)

18 “Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old. 19 Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring

forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness And rivers in the desert. 20 The beast of the field

will honor Me, The jackals and the ostriches, Because I give waters in the wilderness And rivers in the desert, To give

drink to My people, My chosen. 21 This people I have formed for Myself; They shall declare My praise.

1 Peter 2:9-10

9  But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may

proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; 10  who once were not a

people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy.

Opening: God is calling us to embrace our Identity as His chosen people. So thru His provision and protection, He will be

praised.

1. New Seasons Bring Change:

If you refuse to change (adapt) to your season you may not survive. In life we dress for seasons, we adjust activities, we

eat different etc. So should we in Spiritual Seasons

“That which does not kill us, makes us stronger.”

Joseph: Gen 50. 20  But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring

it about as it is this day, to save many people alive.

2. New Seasons Bring new challenges:

When is the last time you thanked the Lord for your Goliaths?

Every level has new obstacles to deal with, and yes 2021 will bring about challenges as well. Sickness, Death, Financial

struggles, Family struggles “But God” has prepared you for such a time as this.

3. New Seasons Bring new champions

Gen 50:21 21  Now, therefore, do not be afraid; I will provide for you and your little ones.” And he comforted them

and spoke kindly to them.

 No Longer Joseph the dreamer but Joseph the provider and sustainer

Closing Remarks: Are you ready to embrace your identity as God’s chosen people? Last week we talked about putting

things behind us? What are you ready to leave behind to become who God has called you to be?

Why the world still  needs Christmas

Pastor Jeremy talks about how the world seems to have forgotten the lost. How we have time to go on missions, to spend money on missions, to travel, and how easy it is in many 1st world societies to just get distracted from the mission and simply don't take action.  Churches have a role, no matter if you're the one holding the baby, or sending the missionary to hold the baby.  All the roles are important and it will take a commitment from everyone who's part of the process. 

Pastor Dan talks about how Jesus performed the Sermon on the Mount and how it was documented and examined, how the Pharisees treated the people, the growing religious class, and how the system was growing in corruptness until Jesus got angry and literally kicked them out of the temple. 

Pastor Dominic talks about how the spread of the gospel went viral in it's time and how it still applies today and it's still a valid topic and how it can affect someone so much when they hear it, it can touch them in such a way that they don't want to keep it to themselves and they want to share it. 

Pastor Donnie talks about being in a relationship with God and how God can use people he can trust. 

Pastor Donnie preaches about being part of the team and supporting others.

Levels of Maturity

a) He will only take you as far has your relationship will handle

put out a little from the land

Cast out a little – Minimal effort witness His ministry in the multitudes, learning about Him

b) When it gets personal No longer was addressing the multitude put Peter personally

Launch out in the deep – this is the separation from the crowds requires greater effort, greater faith, greater obedience to “His word”

(Transition) The Deep is where your Faith gets tested

c) Faith calls for Blind obedience (This is where the real blessings exist) Nevertheless Faith v5

What’s in your hand? God used His nets as the tool of blessing.

1) Is where your Faith is tested

Master, we have toiled all night and caught nothing; nevertheless at Your word I will let down the net

d)  Are you ready for the Increase to share (abundance)

They no longer needed there nets they were entering a new season v.10
