Verse 44

The Self is already attained. It has always been existent. The real ‘I’ seem to be unattained due to ignorance, it is all a matter of belief or trust. One may have doubt about God’s existence but, doesn’t doubt his/her own existence.

Nihilists believe, there is no such thing as God and there is no purpose to life.

They believe in nothing. But non-believing is also a belief.

Guru dispels, the ignorance by uniting one with oneself.

The Master does not make one, the Atman;

but reveals the nature of one’s true identity to oneself.

The one who is born and dies is the Jiva. It is the Jiva that leaves the body at the time of death. Having been tied down by its own desires, jiva keeps wandering from one birth to another.

It is the nature of the body to decay and die; even an enlightened beings body, perishes.The Atman is eternal, never born.

श्लोक 44:

आत्मा पहले से ही सिद्ध और अस्तित्वात्मक है।

तत्व तो हमेशा से ही है ।

मैं हूं .... मेरा होना ही इस बात का प्रमाण है। हम भगवान के होने या ना होने पर सन्देह तो कर सकते हैं। पर अपने होने पर नहीं।

नास्तिकवाद ... भगवान के होने पर विश्वास नहीं करते। वह शून्यता पर विश्वास करते हैं। पर विश्वास ना करना भी तो एक तरह का विश्वास ही हुआ ना।

गुरु ज्ञान प्रदान करके अज्ञान का नाश करता है ।गुरु हमें आत्मा से नहीं मिलता.... बल्कि हमें हमारी असली पहचान से रुबरू करवाता है।

गुरु हमें यह एहसास दिलाता है कि तुम ही आत्मा हो। अज्ञानता के कारण... मन बुद्धि हमें आत्मन से परिचित नहीं होने देती।

मरने के पश्चात आत्मा शरीर नहीं छोड़ती बल्कि जीवा शरीर छोड़ देती है। क्योंकि जीवा ने ही शरीर को इच्छाओं से बांध रखा है। जिसके कारण वह बार-बार जन्म लेती है।

आत्मा शाश्वत है। यह ना ही जन्म लेती है ना ही मरती है। ज्ञानी का शरीर भी नश्वर है। केवल आत्मा ही शाश्वत है। आत्मा इतनी सूक्ष्म और सरल है। हमारी बुद्धि इसको समझ ही नहीं पाती .। उसकी सरलता को हम पकड़ ही नहीं पाते। अज्ञानता हमें उस ऊंचाई तक पहुंचने नहीं देती । जिससे हम खुद को ही नहीं समझ पाते।
