A game we all knew would be brutal coming at the end of 5 games in 14 days, against one of best teams in the league, on an unfamiliar surface, cross country... was exactly what all we feared it would be. A tough performance to watch down at the pub, with a few silver linings and glimmers of hope. With the major congestion of games now behind us, we look back on a difficult but ultimately fairly successful run of games, soured only by a brutal ending. The long awaited second leg of the Canadian Championship quarterfinals saw ATO take on Supra FC, who led the tie 3-1 going in. The mountain was a steep climb, made even more difficult by a disastrous first half performance. While a strong showing in the second half meant we avoid "defeat" at home, a lot more was expected after upsetting TFC in round 1. The rivalry continues to build with our neighbours down the river as we see them again in the regular season within the same week.
