Host Adam Burke and Brian Blessing opened up by talking some NHL. Brian is most definitely a hockey guy and he’s been following the NHL Draft, the Free Agent Frenzy, and the trades, so the guys hit on the early futures market and some teams to watch with the season hopefully beginning again on January 1.

Then they moved over to the NFL, with some quick thoughts on tonight’s Bills vs. Titans game and then a bevy of Week 6 thoughts, including Falcons vs. Vikings, Browns vs. Steelers, and Packers vs. Buccaneers. Lastly, the guys went to Shadow Creek to talk about the CJ Cup and rattled off six or seven names that you might want to look at a little more closely for this week’s tournament.

Host Adam Burke was excited to talk about what we’ve seen so far in the ALCS and the NLCS with listeners on this edition of The Bettor’s Box. Adam talked about Astros vs. Rays first, as the Rays have a 2-0 lead, but may be fortunate to be in the position that they are. Adam talked about some interesting stats and a bet that he likes for the remainder of the series that may disappoint those that are rooting against the Astros.

On the NLCS side, Adam broke down Game 1 and then talked about what to expect from the rest of the series as the Braves drew first blood. It would seem that they have not gotten much respect for that Game 1 victory, as they are still an underdog for the series and face longer World Series odds. Adam discussed what that means and what to watch for going forward in this series and also in the playoffs as a whole, as the ball appears to be different yet again.

Host Adam Burke opened up the Week 5 Circa Sports Million Picks podcast on ATS Radio by recapping what happened last week, as the first of the quarter prizes was handed out in both the Circa and the Westgate SuperContest. After running through the numbers of last week’s results and how we stand with our entries, it was time to talk about the picks and leans for Week 5.

Adam had three games on his very likely list of picks to start the show, but added a fourth by pulling one of his leans up to a more coveted category. Adam discussed the stats, trends, and matchup analysis that support each of his picks, which feature only one favorite and a whole lot of underdogs. A couple of leans were also discussed, as we have COVID concerns to worry about with another week in the NFL.

On the Thursday October 8 edition of ATS Radio, host Adam Burke and pro bettor and handicapper Brad Powers talked about where the industry is going and how to stay on the plus side of everything from a mental standpoint. The guys discussed what works for them, what doesn’t work for them, and the mindset that they try to suggest to subscribers of their picks or their content.

Then it was time to dig into the games, with thoughts on Tulane vs. Houston, Louisville vs. Georgia Tech, Miami vs. Clemson, Virginia Tech vs. North Carolina, a highlight video on Oklahoma vs. Texas, Arkansas vs. Auburn, Florida State vs. Notre Dame, and a best bet from Brad on Mississippi State vs. Kentucky. On the NFL side, the guys discussed high totals, coaches, Panthers vs. Falcons, Bucs vs. Bears, Rams vs. Washington, Jaguars vs. Texans, and a highlight video for Colts vs. Browns.

On the golf side, back-to-back events in Las Vegas are the big story this week, beginning with the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open at TPC Summerlin. Adam and Brian handicapped the course, the field, and shared some of their favorite picks and best bets to win the event. They also talked about a key tip to use for next week for the CJ Cup at Shadow Creek.

The Bettor’s Box train kept rolling on down the tracks on this October 6 edition of the best baseball betting podcast in the business. Host Adam Burke opened up the show with a great offer for the NBA Finals from BetMGM Sportsbook and then shifted the focus to the MLB playoffs. He talked about what we saw in Game 1 for the ALDS between the Yankees and Rays and the Astros and A’s and then discussed what he expects for the rest of those series.

The NLDS series have not yet started, but Marlins vs. Braves and Padres vs. Dodgers get underway today. Adam discussed how he would approach betting on these two series, including some thoughts on what could be some high-scoring games between two of the teams. Adam outlined the advantages and disadvantages for each team and how you can use those to make pregame wagers or to use some live betting lines to your benefit.

The October 5 edition of ATS Radio was a really good one. Host Adam Burke and professional handicapper Kyle Hunter talked about the mental side of handicapping to open the show and some tips and tricks that they’ve found to stay in a good mindset. The guys also discussed misleading box scores, power ratings adjustments, and signs of regression with teams before doing a highlight video for Tulane vs. Houston and then bouncing around the Week 6 card.

On the NFL side, Adam and Kyle hit a few misleading scores and talked about the state of totals betting around the league before doing a highlight video for Buccaneers vs. Bears and jumping around the Week 5 card a bit to talk about games that they like and the ones that they dislike.

Host Adam Burke is off to a 9-5-1 start in the 2020 Circa Sports Million II and he’s hoping to rebound from a disappointing 2-3 showing in Week 3. His Week 4 thoughts began on ATS Radio with a look at how the contest field has done to this point as a whole. After a recap of Week 3 across the contest landscape and a few thoughts from Adam on how last week’s picks went, it was time to turn the page and look ahead to Week 4.

Adam had a list of two likely picks and a set of leans to talk about on the show. He discussed the reasoning and the rationale behind the games that have made it on the shortlist.
