    Host Adam Burke opened up this edition of the top betting podcast in the business by talking about the AL West on today’s edition of The Bettor’s Box. Adam talked about the Houston Astros, Los Angeles Angels, Oakland Athletics, Seattle Mariners, and Texas Rangers during his solo segment. The Five and Fly format means roughly five minutes are dedicated to each team and Adam talked about his win total picks and outlooks for all five AL West squads. He also took a look at some updated injury news and notes coming out of Florida and Arizona for Spring Training.
    John Ryan is a contributor to BangTheBook.com. Adam and John discussed some NBA buy and sell for this week with a look around the Association at teams that have fallen out of favor with bettors or have signs of positive regression. They also talked about the other side of that coin. Then they focused on the Big East and Big Ten in college hoops. We had some interesting results last night and have an interesting weekend on tap, as there will be just one more week of the regular season for those two conferences after this weekend’s action.

    To open up today’s show, host Adam Burke was joined by professional handicapper Bryan Leonard from WagerTalk.com for a discussion on the AL Central for the upcoming season. We’ll do some MLB division preview stuff from Bryan in the lead-up to Opening Day and today just happened to be about the Twins, Indians, White Sox, Royals, and Tigers. The guys also spent a couple quick minutes on the NBA, including a play on Bryan’s radar for tonight’s action.
    Wes Reynolds also joined Adam on the show today to discuss Week 4 in the XFL, a little bit of Big Ten college hoops, and some golf with the Honda Classic. The guys broke down this week in the XFL with thoughts on the Wildcats vs. Guardians, Dragons vs. BattleHawks, Roughnecks vs. Renegades, and Defenders vs. Vipers. The guys also took a look at some Big Ten action for tonight, including Maryland vs. Minnesota, and wrapped up with the Honda Classic down at PGA National with some of Wes’s picks and insight.

That means five minutes on each of the five teams within the division. On this one, it was the Chicago White Sox, Cleveland Indians, Detroit Tigers, Kansas City Royals, and Minnesota Twins. Adam also checked in briefly on some quick injury information and told listeners where to look in order to find more sources for studying the upcoming season.
    Professional handicapper Kyle Hunter from HunterSportsPicks.com and BetterSportsPicks.com joined Adam for this week’s Handicapping the Hardwood segment in the second part of the show. The guys discussed a whole lot of different things, including conference tournament formats and the impact they have on the end of the regular season. They also talked about totals betting in these late regular season games. On the game breakdown side of the spectrum, the guys discussed Akron vs. Bowling Green, Iowa vs. Michigan State, Virginia vs. Virginia Tech, Furman vs. UNC Greensboro, ETSU vs. Wofford, South Dakota State vs. North Dakota State, New Mexico State vs. Grand Canyon, and Wright State vs. Northern Kentucky.

Nobody does the under-the-radar games better than this duo.

A wide range of games, but a narrow focus on the betting angles and opportunities.
