He also recapped all of the moves from a crazy MLB Trade Deadline. Then gave this week's exit velocity update and also some numbers on how teams are faring with runners in scoring position.

The MLB Trade Deadline is tomorrow, but games are still being played in spite of the tough emotional days for players, teams, and front office members. Because it's Monday, we were back on the air with a new version of The Bettor's Box. Host Adam Burke had a lot of baseball betting thoughts and analysis to help you with your MLB picks. He started with the Monday Mailbag, with some important betting questions, and then went into today's MLB content.

The Beyond the Box Score segment featured Nationals vs. Marlins, Dodgers vs. Braves, A's vs. Rockies, Rangers vs. Astros, and Brewers vs. Giants. A recap of recent trades including Brad Brach, Asdrubal Cabrera, Cole Hamels, and Mike Moustakas led into the Down the Lines segment. A strong pick on a nice underdog for Monday night sent us into a preview of the week ahead. This is the best baseball betting podcast in the industry and we left no doubt today.

We took a little break from baseball on Monday to bring you some college football content instead. It's Thursday, though, and we're back to normal with a new edition of The Bettor's Box. Host Adam Burke had a lot to chat about today, including some tips for handling Trade Deadline weekend, a look Beyond the Box Score at recent series with the Cardinals vs. Reds, Yankees vs. Rays, Dodgers vs. Phillies, Tigers vs. Royals, and Diamondbacks vs. Cubs.

He also recapped trades that have happened so far and the tangible impacts that they could have for both teams. He gave out the weekly exit velocity update, a quick look Down the Lines, and had a free pick for Thursday night. The weekend ahead will be interesting and he touched on four series to follow and a look-ahead bet for Monday's card.

Arizona State, UCLA, Boston College, Missouri, Ole Miss, and West Virginia can all pose problems for those trying to set up power ratings. They also talked about one of Ralph's favorite under-the-radar teams for the upcoming 2018 season.

Host Adam Burke was back on the airwaves for a second half primer for the Major League Baseball season. Second half is misleading because 60 percent of the season has already been played for a lot of teams, but Adam shared a lot of great baseball betting insights as usual. He highlighted a lot of individual pitchers in line for regression, both positive and negative, and then looked at adjusted season win total odds for the second half.

The guys talked about how to construct college football power ratings and what the value of power ratings actually is. They talked about some season win total bets and some of Brad's Games of the Year bets.

The guys also discussed some teams that are overvalued and undervalued in the college football betting market as we are about five weeks away from the start of the 2018 season.

The All-Star Break is here, which means that we had a different type of format with today's edition of The Bettor's Box. Host Adam Burke answered Monday Mailbag questions about beer and MLB season win totals. Then he went Beyond the Box Score with a few quick thoughts on last weekend's games and then a look at all 30 MLB teams to look at their current situations, some possible second half adjusted season win total picks, and some futures to jump on in the market.
