Jeff & Mike kick off their Spooky Season Series with Soviet film "Viy" from 1967 starring Leonid Kuravlyov and Natalya Varley. A young priest is ordered to preside over the wake of witch in a small old wooden church of a remote village. This means spending three nights alone with the corpse with only his faith to protect him.

Viy (Spirit of Evil) is a 1967 Soviet horror film directed by Konstantin Yershov and Georgi Kropachyov. Based on the story of the same name by Nikolai Gogol, the film's screenplay was written by Yershov, Kropachyov and Aleksandr Ptushko. The film was the first Soviet-era horror film to be officially released in the USSR.
Jeff, Kim, & Mike conclude their "Summer Swim Series" with a review of the grandest of sea terrors - JAWS. It's a 1975 horror/thriller film directed by Steven Spielberg. It stars Roy Scheider as police chief Martin Brody, who, with the help of a marine biologist (Richard Dreyfuss) and a professional shark hunter (Robert Shaw), hunts a man-eating great white shark that attacks beachgoers at a summer resort town.
