A stalker has been arrested after a popular Attack on Titan voice actor received online death threats.
A stalker has been arrested after the Attack on Titan Japanese-language voice actor for Mikasa, Yui Ishikawa, reported him to the police following death threats.
Jiji reported on Dec. 25, 2023, that the 25-year-old man, Fukuta Kishimoto from Kyoto, was arrested and charged with intimidation after directing a death threat toward Ishikawa. He had posted the message "I'll s*ab her with a knife and k*ll her" in November and was arrested the same month. He has now confessed to the charge. The threat was identified after Ishikawa's agency discovered the post online.
