Jesus lived in attentive obedience to the Father.  What motivated Jesus to a life of attentive obedience was his unique, intimate, personal and loving relationship with the Father. We too have been invited into this special relationship with the Father through the Son. Only then we can partner with him in living the life he has called us to live, a life of attentive obedience for the sake of his glory.
