Streamed 12/03/2021. We've all heard the expressions "Soul Food" and "feed your soul." But do we actually know what a soul is, really? And by soul we are referring to our Monad, that nomadic wandering Self which is not an "I" at all, but a multiplicity of individuated aspects in unity; a Divine Vessel, to be sure, but one which has a specific metaphysical constitution, and which requires nourishment just as all corporeal beings do, despite being incorporeal (as above, so below). Not least because for the vast majority on this planet, the Monad is just a seed, an Individuated Essence, very much underdeveloped; nowhere near a fully Self-realized Tree of Life...a tree in POTENTIALITY, only. Of course, like any seed, our Monad requires energy and substantial nutrients to develop, die as a seed, sprout as a sapling, and grow into a tree. Unlike an actual corporeal seed, the Essence must be fed metaphysically, not physically. Ironically, we, the Monad's physical vessel are responsible for nourishing the Monad (feeding our soul). But is it as easy as giving it "soul food?" And is what gets packaged and sold to us as "soul food" really nourishing for our Monad at all? Our Monad is not some pet that we throw a bowl of kibble down in front of daily, amuse with some toy periodically, or shower with love and attention when WE are feeling lonely and need uplifting. Nor can its development, death as a seed, and rebirth as a sapling occur automatically/mechanically, nor be fast-tracked by any artifice, subjective means, physical substance, or third-party intervention. So if we are not consciously feeding our Monad daily, moment by moment, shouldn't we begin ASAP? What about all that is "bad" out there that we encounter? What happens when we feel sad, stressed, angry, depressed, anxious, terrified, or any number so-called negative emotions, negative reactions to what we deem as unpalatable impressions and undesirable experiences? Is the New Age fad of avoiding negativity, unpleasantness, and suffering, preferring to focus on positivity, feeling good, and comforting really giving our soul what it needs? Could we be slowly going insane trying to avoid the Truth of reality and ourselves (it is what it is) in an attempt to "create our reality" (manifest your desires) dictated by "our truth" (do as thou wilt)? How do the five elements (water, earth, air, fire, and aether) play into this discussion of nourishing the soul? What are their metaphysical qualities, and where exactly does one find these elements in a form which is safely ingestible and digestible by a human being (professional fire-eaters notwithstanding)?
Join Attlas for a practical examination of the metaphysical physiognomy comprising our Monad, and how, in fact, we can actually "feed our soul" what it needs in order to develop, awaken, and Self-realize as an Individuated Aspect of The Logos.
