Auburn Church of the Nazarene Podcast

This sermon was preached by Rev. Rich Mark at Auburn Church of the Nazarene on April 28, 2019.

Though the COVID-19 drama muted our Easter celebration this year, we must still guard against thinking we can simply go back to our regular routines and ho-hum lives, as if Easter was just a holiday to celebrate. Can you imagine, it was far from ho-hum for those early disciples! Even after one week had passed since the most unbelievable, mind-boggling thing they could have ever imagined had taken place, things were far from ho-hum.

It raises the question for us – what does the death and resurrection of Jesus actually mean for our lives? Is something supposed to be different? (Spoiler Alert) – YES!! These are the questions that are addressed in this sermon.

This sermon, “The Goal of God,” was preached by Rev. Rich Mark at Auburn Church of the Nazarene on Palm Sunday, April 4, 2019.
